It was a messy game for the Pittsburgh Steelers as the ending result was a tie with the Detroit Lions. It's not the end of the world, but neither team played well. Pittsburgh is known for their defense but they seemed to struggle at times. Cameron Heyward provides his honest take during his post-game interview.

According to Chris Adamski, Heyward seems straightforward and to the point. “When we lose it's a concern, when we tie it's a concern. We're in this game to win. I don't care how it's done, but we have to be better.”

Heyward is spot on with his take here. The Lions have a poor offense that has struggled throughout the season. This was a chance for the Steelers' defense to unload on a weaker opponent and failed to do so.

According to Ray Fittipaldo, Cameron Heyward claims “the defense has to do a better job of getting off blocks and running their feet in tackles.” Although the Lions weren't spectacular either, they shouldn't have been able to make this a close game. The Steelers have a much better team than Detroit right now, meaning Pittsburgh might have some kinks to iron out.

It's not like the Steelers are completely dead in the water. Ben Roethlisberger should return in Week 11 and the team is hopeful that TJ Watt's injury isn't too serious. Luckily for them, the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens lost in Week 10 as well. For that reason, Pittsburgh is still in the running for a playoff spot.

Look for the Steelers to potentially bounce back in Week 11 as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
