Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert appears to be gaining some traction in regards to trading wide receiver Antonio Brown.
“Interest has grown.” — #Steelers GM Kevin Colbert, on a possible Antonio Brown trade. “Ideally you’ll like to trade him to someone you’d never play. But if a team comes through with the best compensation you have to weigh that.”

After months of turmoil and dysfunction, it's clear the Steelers and Brown have agreed to part ways and now it's all about the Steelers finding a fit that best suits them. The Steelers are likely not going to accept any kind of deal that doesn't involve a top-talent or first round pick in return.
Colbert has stated that Brown is an incredible player and a top player in the league so to accept anything less in return would be foolish.
Colbert has stated that three teams have shown interest in trading for Brown, but those particular teams have not been named. Colbert's desire to trade Brown to a team that the Steelers will never play shows how much he respects the former All-Pro receiver. Although Brown has hinted at wanting to play for the San Francisco 49ers, his preferences do not matter and whoever can offer the Steelers the best return will likely be where he goes.
Pittsburgh will be a different team next season without Brown, but wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has emerged as a top talent in the league as well. If the Steelers hope to retain their legitimacy going forward they will undoubtedly need a decent return in trading Brown away.
Unfortunately, Brown has remained a top player in the league for many years and was arguably the league's best wideout for the past few years.
