The Pittsburgh Steelers took a big blow after it has been revealed that wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is done for the rest of the 2021 NFL season. Smith-Schuster suffered a shoulder injury in Week 5's win against the Denver Broncos at home.
A day after he sustained the injury, Smith-Schuster spoke in his charity event and was brought to tears when reflecting on his football career. He was obviously and understandably affected emotionally as well by his injury that's taken his ability to play with his Steelers teammates for the rest of the year.

It's quite a powerful sight for anyone to see a football star let his emotions all out. Smith-Schuster is one of the best in the business, so the fact that he can't play the sport that he loves so much at the highest level he worked so hard to reach is definitely killing him inside.
As for the Steelers, they will have to rely more on the likes of Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson. The Steelers also just recently signed Anthony Miller to the practice squad, with the expectation that he'll crack the 53-man roster soon, as a depth guy following Smith-Schuster's injury.
Smith-Schuster concludes his 2021 NFL season with just 129 receiving yards and zero touchdowns on 15 receptions.
