Le'Veon Bell and the Pittsburgh Steelers didn't end on the best terms, that much is obvious. The star running back ended up sitting out the entire 2018 season over a dispute about his contract and made it clear he had issues with members of the team and the front office.
But Bell never soured on the fans, and he made that clear on Twitter.
Gonna miss y’all too… Still got so much love for the fans of #SteelerNation 🙌🏾 https://t.co/qLH2eLRs05

In response to a tweet from a fan, Bell wrote that he still had “so much love for the fans of #SteelerNation.” Bell signed with the Jets this offseason, but he'll still go down as one of the more talented players in recent Steelers history.
Article Continues BelowHe had a great run with the team, and clearly isn't trying to burn any bridges, unlike a certain former Steelers wide receiver.
Bell caught a lot of flak last season for never publicly clarifying his intentions. He had made it seem for a while that he was going to show up sometime around the bye week, but then never did. But since the season ended, he's struck a much more conciliatory tone with the team.
Antonio Brown's recent antics have made Bell look a lot better by comparison, and fans are now a lot more understanding. James Conner even reached out to let Bell know how much he appreciated him being supportive and never acting like Brown.
Bell clearly wants fans to remember him for the good times, and he looks like the hero to Brown's villain right about now. As for his play on the field, the Jets will be counting on him to be a very large part of Sam Darnold's development as they look to make the next step as a team.
