Former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver and current 2019 NFL Draft prospect Mecole Hardman believes that he can fill a major void for the Pittsburgh Steelers going forward. With current Oakland Raiders wideout Antonio Brown previously on the move across the country, Hardman thinks that he can potentially replace the All-Pro wide receiver in Pittsburgh.

Not only that, but the up-and-coming pass catcher believes that it may be fate that connects him to the “Steel City.”

“My daddy was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, so he had put me on them when Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu and all them were there. ‘Big Ben' was just getting there, so like, I've been rocking with the Steelers for a minute,” he told TMZ.

With the 2019 NFL Draft now on the immediate horizon, it remains to be seen as to exactly where the young wideout falls come late April.

“Raw but explosive with burst to uncover underneath and a second gear to threaten over the top,” reads his NFL.com NFL Draft profile. “Hardman is a relative newcomer to the position and it shows up at times in routes and his struggles competing for the ball in traffic. Hardman could develop into a lesser version of Tyreek Hill with his playmaking potential after the catch, on deep balls and as a returner. Speed kills in today's game and Hardman's could be coveted on Day 2 (Rounds 2-3).”

As for the Steelers, Pittsburgh is looking to turn the page on a major chapter, especially after failing to reach the postseason in 2018.
