The NFL has decided on the punishment of Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watt after punching Seattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins during their Week 6 showdown last Sunday.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the league has fined Watt $10,815 for unnecessary roughness. To recall, Watt threw four punches at Collins in the third quarter of the contest in an attempt to trip the ball off the Seahawks RB.

Below is the video of the incident. At first look, it looked like Watt was punching Collins instead of the ball, and admittedly, it was a bit too much and unnecessary.

TJ Watt signed a four-year, $112 million extension with the Steelers last summer, so he certainly wouldn't mind the fine. Besides, what's important for him is that they got the win after a few weeks of struggling.
The Steelers ended up winning the contest 23-20, with Watt contributing seven combined tackles, three passes defended and one forced fumble. They moved to 3-3 on the standings, having won their last two after losing three straight through Week 2 to 4.
Pittsburgh fans would certainly want to see the same rugged and fierce mentality from Watt when they play the Cleveland Browns in Week 8 after their bye week. Of course, he could try to not overdo it so as to avoid incurring any more fine.
