The Dolphins released Elliott on July 24th. A month after, he signed with Pittsburgh and is playing his first preseason football of 2019 with the team, a week after he became a roster member.
Before his time in the AAF, Elliott played with the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, and the New Orleans Saints. For his career, he has tallied four sacks, 47 combined tackles, eight quarterback hits, and seven tackles for loss, the bulk of which came in three seasons for the Packers.
