While there are a lot of questions about Jimmy Garoppolo's future with the San Francisco 49ers, answering those is not the first order of business for him this offseason.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Garoppolo will first focus on getting healthy after enduring a couple of injuries throughout the playoffs and for a huge chunk of the season.
To recall, Garoppolo suffered a thumb injury before Christmas and a shoulder sprain during the divisional round against the Green Bay Packers, both of which have bothered him during the NFC title game. As Rapoport explained, the 49ers quarterback experienced pain every time he threw the ball, especially because of the torn ligament in his right thumb.

For what it's worth, Jimmy Garoppolo played down his injuries prior to Sunday's showdown with the Los Angeles Rams. However, he did hint about a possible surgery in his right thumb before saying that it's holding up just fine.
Garoppolo recorded two touchdowns in the contest, but it was clear he's not at his best.
Now that the 49ers are out of the playoffs, Garoppolo can focus on healing his injuries before making any decision. He mentioned that he will take his time before making any announcement on his future with the team, only saying that he loves the team and appreciates the journey they had this year.
San Francisco is largely expected to move on from Garoppolo and groom Trey Lance to be their starting QB now and beyond. With that said, a lot of 49ers fans predict their veteran signal-caller to leave the team as well.
