The Seattle Seahawks are in the midst of a battle, so it seems, as the NFC West franchise will be attempting to lock up pass rusher Frank Clark for the long haul this offseason. With the team recently using its franchise tag on Clark, it now appears as though the veteran pass rusher has absolutely no interest on playing under such a parameter in 2019-20.
In fact, Clark reportedly won't show up to training camp without a new long term deal, according to a weekend report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. What does this mean? Clark could hold out until he receives his new deal from the Seahawks.

Seattle and head coach Pete Carroll continue to be optimistic in regards to keeping Clark in Seattle going forward.
“I’m counting on it. Counting on it,” Carroll said of the possibility of re-signing Clark last weekm, via 247 Sports.
The Seahawks continue to serve as a threat in the NFC despite being forced to revamp the team's defensive attack over the course of the last several seasons. This time around, Seattle will be losing veteran safety Earl Thomas, who is currently an unrestricted free agent. Previously, the Seahawks lost both safety Kam Chancellor and cornerback Richard Sherman, beginning the turnover in Seattle.
