The Seattle Seahawks are officially on the market for a new quarterback. News broke Tuesday afternoon that Russell Wilson is the headliner in a trade between the Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. In exchange for Wilson and a fourth-round pick, the Seahawks will receive quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, and five draft picks.
Shortly after word of the trade got out, the Seahawks tweeted a clip from Tom Hank's popular film “Cast Away.”

The 15 second clip is arguably the most heartbreaking part of the 2000 classic. Chuck Noland is unable to retrieve Wilson the volleyball, his only companion that helped him survive the loneliness of a deserted island. Instead, he is forced to watch Wilson float away.
Now, the Seahawks are in a very similar boat (no pun intended). After a decade, Wilson and the Seahawks drifted apart.

Both tweets symbolize iconic moments in each team's history. This is the beginning of a huge relationship for the Broncos, but an end to Wilson's legacy in Seattle.
According to reports, Wilson had many opportunities and offers throughout the league, one with the recently rebranded Washington Commanders.
