Following the disappointing loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, there has been much attention drawn toward how things transpired in the final minute of the game.
In the first couple of days since, there have been plenty of details to emerge to how things have unfolded over that situation. According to Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network, Ben Roethlisberger revealed that the Steelers had just one play following the overturned touchdown from tight end Jesse James.
Ben Roethlisberger says Steelers had just one play ready to go after that Jesse James TD was overturned: "I wish we would've called two plays. I wish we had two plays ready to go."

Following the play, Roethlisberger had elected to throw check down pass to Darius-Heyward Bey instead of making a throw going toward the sideline to stop the clock. That said, Roethlisberger did take the blame things unfolding the manner in which they did that saw him elect to throw in the end zone instead of spike the ball to stop the clock.
Head coach Mike Tomlin also divulged that he spent almost all of the time during the official review of the play deciding what to do if the ball were placed on the one-yard line due to the referees stating that if it was likely overturned it would be put just short of the goal line. It was a play that much uncertainty about what decision would be made because of the difficulty of assessing the play clearly.
Regardless of what was ultimately determined by the referees, the Steelers didn't prepare properly for the situation that unfolded, and it showed on the field.
