The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a disappointing loss to the New England Patriots in Week 15 with the team coming up short in the final moments against Tom Brady and company. Despite the loss, the AFC heavyweights believe they're the team to beat in the NFL this season and aim to prove that fact.

Newcomer Joe Haden recently talked about his experience with the Steelers and how he feels about the team's chances to win the Super Bowl this season, via Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“I love our chances. I’m really, really excited just to have the opportunity going into every game with this offense and our defense. Our talent level is just up over everybody.

“I don’t feel like anybody can out-talent us. We just have to be able to come out there and execute and make the plays. I like our chances versus anyone.”

Although the Patriots came out on top in last week's matchup, the Steelers still have a chance to clinch a first-round bye in the NFL playoffs. Mike Tomlin's squad has already won the AFC North division title to secure their playoff spot, but a first-round bye would be highly beneficial, especially with Antonio Brown recent injury.

It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out in the AFC with the Patriots, Steelers, and Jacksonville Jaguars all hoping to get the coveted first-round bye. As long as the Steelers can get Brown back and stay healthy, they'll have a chance to run the table in the postseason, but there's still a lot of questions looming if they've got what it takes to take down Bill Belichick's championship-caliber team in the playoffs.
