New Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians wants wide receiver DeSean Jackson back, and earlier this month, Arians met with Jackson to try and convince him to come back for 2019.
On Wednesday, Arians said that the meeting went well.
“I had a great meeting with DeSean about two weeks ago,” Arians told Pro Football Talk Live, per Josh Alper. “I have a ton of respect for him as a player and a person. I thought the meeting went great. I can’t speak for him, but I thought he was excited about it and I really look forward to working with him.”
Jackson has been said to want out of Tampa Bay, and back in December, he sold his Tampa home, an indication that the wide out did not plan on being back with the Buccaneers next season.
