For many NFL hopefuls, Week 4 of the preseason is a terrifying time. It's the last time some will ever play football; it's the last time to prove that they belong in the league; it's also the last time to make the roster.

In a time of great stress and complexity, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians preaches simplicity for those vying to make a name for themselves in the NFL. Per Pewter Report, Arians said on Monday Week 4's matchup and how players can strategize it:

“The one thing about this last game is you always try to keep it as simple as possible. So they can play fast and show you that they’re real athletic. You don’t want them out there thinking that part of it, you just want to see good one-on-one stuff all night and try to be as proficient as possible. Special teams, that’s where most jobs are going to be won in this game, somebody that covers a kick, maybe knocks a ball loose, does something big that gets you one of those last 10 spots or one of those ten practice squad spots. There’s a lot of spots up.”

The one great thing about the fourth week of the exhibition gauntlet is that backups will play a lot to get the chance to make the roster. For Arians, he has one more piece of advice for those playing to get a job on Thursday in Dallas:

“Play your ass off Thursday night,” Arians said. “Make me can’t cut you.
