The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought in Tom Brady, but that doesn't mean they won't draft a quarterback who they believe can be their future. Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht said he thinks the team could do it. But a lot of it would depend on what other players are still available in the spot where a quarterback they liked was available.

But it just depends on who that player is, where he’s available, what other players are in front of him. If we are sold on that player, it’s not as easy as just picking any quarterback and thinking, ‘OK, he’s the developmental guy.’”
Tom Brady is 43 years old, but it's hard to imagine the team is going to use a first-round draft pick on a quarterback as they are in a win-now mode. Taking a player in the first round that can have an impact on the team right away makes the most sense.
There are some other quarterbacks who had a lot of success in college that would make a lot of sense in the second, third, or fourth rounds. Jalen Hurts was a standout in college but he could sneak up the draft boards and not be available. Jake Fromm and Jacob Eason or two guys who would make a lot of sense to sit behind Brady for a year or two and be his replacement when the future Hall of Famer is ready to retire.
