Tom Brady has officially signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and this isn't a move just to retire in the sun, his goal is to win a lot of games. Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht was a scout for the Patriots when they drafted Brady, and he knows the desire to win is as strong now, as it was back when he joined the Patriots.

“Tom is a proven champion who has achieved greatness on the field because he demands the best out of himself and his teammates,” Licht said in a statement released by the team via Pro Football Talk. “I’ve known Tom since we drafted him in New England 20 years ago and through this process it became very clear that his desire to be a champion burns as strong today as it ever has. He possesses the type of rare natural leadership qualities that will immediately impact our entire organization.”

The Buccaneers haven't made the playoffs since 2007 and at a minimum that should be the expectations for this team with Brady under center. The defense is up and coming with the offense filled with playmakers. Mike Evans and Chris Goodwin are two of the best wide receivers in all of football. In 2019 Goodwin had 1,333 yards and nine touchdowns while Evans added 1,157 yards and eight touchdowns.

With the playmakers surronding Brady, making the playoffs is a start but it probably isn't enough. The goal for this team has to be to compete for a Super Bowl or 2020 could be considered a disapointment.
