The Tennessee Titans will try to bounce back from a disappointing loss in their last game when they take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. This should be a competitive game that could come down to the final possession, but the Titans should come out ahead. Let's breakdown four reasons the Titans can pick up their ninth win of the season over Drew Brees and company.

4. Titans' defense is battle-tested

The Titans' defense has faced a lot of quality offenses and has still been able to come out with wins. The Titans are one of only eight teams that is allowing 20 points or fewer per game. Jameis Winston has been lighting up the scoreboard most of the season and earlier this year when the Titans faced them they only gave up 23 points, and that was one of the worst defensive performances of the season.

The defense also knows they can give up points and win games (something that wasn't the case with Marcus Mariota) so they don't have to play as tight.

3. Drew Brees away from home

The last few years there has been a big dropoff in play away from home for Drew Brees. With the injury earlier in the year this is going to be only his third full road game this season.

He played well against the Buccaneers, but in his last start against the Atlanta Falcons, he threw for only 184 yards and a touchdown. The Tennessee defense has been good at bending and not breaking. Even though they give up yards they do a good job of keeping opponents out of the end zone, and forcing them into field goals.

Brees will get his yards between the 20's, but inside the red zone the Titans defense has the advantage.

2. Titans run defense/Alvin Kamara

The real strength of the Titans' defense is against the run giving up only 104.4 yards per game which is 13th in the NFL. Tennessee should be able to take Latavius Murray and the Saints still aren't using Alvin Kamara as much as they should be.

He could still be a bit of an issue catching passes out of the backfield, but the Saints are going to have a real issue trying to run the ball against the Titans' front four.

1. Ryan Tannehill

Ryan Tannehill has proven this season why he should be the long-term option under center going forward for the Titans. This is an offense that looks a lot more dynamic with Tannehill and they also have a lot more confidence.

On the season Tannehill is completing 2,272 yards, 17 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Even though the Titans lost last week against the Houston Texans, Tannehill still was strong throwing for 279 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.

The defense should find success in this game, but if they don't, the good news is Tannehill can make up for it. In four of the last five games the Titans have scored at least 31 points and the main reason was Tannehill's play. He is going to lead the Titans to the victory in this game.
