The Green Bay Packers have traded outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a conditional 2020 draft pick, the teams announced on Thursday. The deal has already been agreed upon but is contingent on Gilbert passing a physical.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Green Bay will receive a seventh-round pick from Tennessee in the trade.
Gilbert appeared in all 16 games last season for the first time in his career, finishing with 38 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, and eight hits on the opposing quarterback. Though currently sidelined by a knee injury, he was unlikely to play much during the regular season once healthy due to the Packers' depth at outside linebacker.

As a result, Gilbert found himself fifth on Green's depth chart at outside linebacker at the time of the trade.
Undrafted out of Arizona in 2016, he signed with the Packers as a free agent shortly after the draft, then spent the entirety of his rookie season on the practice squad. Gilbert got his first game action late in his sophomore season after being called up from the practice squad due to injury, appearing in Green Bay's final two contests of 2017.
By acquiring Gilbert, the Titans addressed their need for additional depth at outside linebacker after fifth-round pick D'Andre Walker was placed on injured reserve earlier this month.
