Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Vance McDonald is clearly unhappy about reports pertaining to a number of Tennessee Titans players working out together despite being locked out of their team facility.
The Steelers were slated to face off against the Titans in Week 4 prior to the contest being postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak within the Titans organization. Apparently, their players still opted to gather for unsanctioned group workouts, which has since earned the ire of pretty much the entire league. You could say that McDonald is on that same boat.
“There’s got to be some sort of foundation we can come back to as a league that establishes fair play,” McDonald said, via the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. “So, when one team, kind of like, as you mentioned, with the Titans — and I’m not saying we know all the details or whatever — if one team’s blunder is another team’s misfortune, kind of like how Ben [Roethlisberger] mentioned we got the short end of the stick, I feel the same way.”
From a personal standpoint, McDonald had to cancel plans with his family in light of the rescheduled matchup between the Steelers and the Titans. From where he's sitting, McDonald just can't comprehend how the Titans can continue to be so irresponsible in spite of the situation at hand.

“I only think it’s going to get worse. It’s going to compound,” McDonald said. “More stories are going to come out, and unfortunately, it’s the negative ones that catch, and it’s the ‘I get to point the finger at you.’ We just don’t want the finger pointed at us.”
McDonald's statements pretty much encapsulate how the league is feeling towards the Titans right now. It would be surprising if the NFL does not clamp down on these violations with unprecedented penalties.
