Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry said that he fully expects to be ready for Sunday afternoon's game against the Houston Texans despite being bothered by a hamstring injury (via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk):

Henry has been dealing with a hamstring issue for the last few weeks and seemed to be bothered by it a bit more than usual late in last Sunday’s win over the Raiders, but he didn’t hesitate when asked about his status for the first of two games between the AFC South leaders in the next three weeks.

“On Sunday, I’ll be ready to go,” Henry said.

Henry did not practice on Wednesday after registering a DNP last Wednesday, but it is likely that the Titans are merely taking precautions as they prepare for the final stretch.

The former Alabama star has been on a crazy roll as of late, racking up nearly 600 yards on the ground and seven rushing touchdowns in the last four weeks, all wins for the Titans.

Tennessee is surely hoping for another explosive finish to the regular season from Henry after he erupted for close to 600 yards rushing–including a 238-yard performance against the Jaguars–during the last four weeks of the 2018 regular season.

The winner of this Titans-Texans matchup could very well go on to win the AFC South. It is certainly the most important game of the year for both teams, so it should not come as a surprise that Henry will give it a go regardless of how the hamstring feels.
