Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has been dealing with a hamstring issue for several weeks, but it has not stopped him from playing on Sundays.
Most recently, Henry carried the ball 18 times for 103 yards and a couple of touchdowns in a 42-21 win over the Oakland Raiders this past weekend. While he was inhibited during the performance, he is not going to let that prevent him from continuing to help his team in its playoff push:
“Ain’t no quittin’ in me,” Henry said, according to Jim Wyatt of the Titans' team website. “My leg is going to have to be halfway off for me to stop. I am going to go out there and help my team win games and play through it.”
Head coach Mike Vrabel has made sure to limit Henry in practice, and it's paying off.

It's somewhat similar to last year when Henry went on a late-season tear. The difference is, Henry is compromised as he is doing it in 2019.
On the season overall, the 25-year-old has totaled 1,243 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging a robust five yards per carry. He has also tallied 18 catches for 216 yards and a pair of scores.
The Titans have won six of their last seven games to vault themselves into the heat of the AFC Wild Card race. Tennessee is 8-5, but due to tiebreakers, the Pittsburgh Steelers (who are also 8-5) currently lay claim to the second wild-card spot.
