The Tennessee Titans got some good news on Tuesday, as star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney returned to practice, per Pro Football Talk.
Clowney sat out the Titans' previous game due to a meniscus injury in his knee and there were some rumors going around that he might need surgery.
However, it looks like Clowney is feeling better and could play in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football.
The Titans snapped their two-game losing streak by defeating the Chicago Bears at home in Week 9 by a final score of 24-17. Tennessee is 6-2 on the season and in first place in the AFC South standings.
Week 10 is a big game since the Colts are 5-3 and right behind the Titans in the division. Indianapolis fell to the Baltimore Ravens at home in Week 9.
In his first season with the Titans, Jadeveon Clowney has racked up 11 solo tackles. The former No. 1 overall pick has yet to record a sack, though. That will certainly have to change moving forward if Tennessee wants to win the AFC South and go on a deep playoff run.
With the Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks, Clowney registered 32.0 sacks. It's going to be interesting to see if he plays in Week 10 and how effective he is getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks moving forward with his ailing knee.
