The second-year pro signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Tolliver played college football at Division II's Arkansas-Monticello, finishing his four-year career with 192 catches for 3,168 yards and 39 touchdowns and three All-Great American Conference selections. He was especially productive as a senior when he caught 67 passes for 1,109 yards and 16 scores.
Tolliver spent most of his rookie season on Arizona's practice squad. His NFL debut came on December 9th, 2018 in a 17-3 loss to the Detroit Lions, when he had two catches for 22 yards. He also played in Arizona's remaining two regular season games, catching one of his four targets for 15 yards.
Article Continues BelowThe Cardinals released Tolliver last week, the day before rookie mini-camp. Arizona used a second-round pick on Massachusetts wide receiver Andy Isabella, and fourth and fifth-round selections, respectively, on Iowa State wide receiver Hakeem Butler and Fresno State wide receiver Keesean Johnson.
The Titans, after signing Tolliver, now have a whopping 12 wide receiver on the roster, including 2017 first-round pick Corey Davis, free-agent signee Adam Humphries, and rookie A.J. Brown.
Davis, the fifth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, rebounded from a disappointing debut campaign to lead Tennessee with 65 catches, 891 receiving yards, and four touchdowns. Humphries, meanwhile, comes over from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after posting career-highs of 74 catches and 816 yards last season. Brown, a second-round pick out of Ole Miss, is poised to add a physical dimension to the Titans' receiving corps that should make life easier on franchise quarterback Marcus Mariota.
