Washington Football Team Week 10 Takeaways
Taylor Heinicke outdueled Tom Brady

With 256 passing yards on 26 of 32 attempts to go along with a touchdown on the day, Heinicke was able to match wits with Brady and lead Washington to a much-needed win in commanding fashion.
Heinicke isn't always hitting on all cylinders, but when he's on like he was this past weekend, Washington's offense is absolutely unstoppable and playing at their absolute best. If they want to come away with more quality wins and keep pace in the loaded NFC wild card race then Washington will need Heinicke to be at his level best for the rest of the season.

William Jackson III and Bobby McCain disrupted the Bucs' passing game
With a strong defensive showing from their secondary and two big interceptions that shifted the momentum for Washington, it goes without saying that William Jackson III and Bobby McCain played a big part in disrupting Tampa Bay's aerial assault. After their two big takeaways that led to a couple scores for Washington, it became apparent that Jackson and McCain were both the difference makers for Washington on defense and they needed to continue setting the tone – especially after Chase Young was forced to leave the game with an untimely injury.
As they continue their journey to climb the ranks of the top-heavy NFC, Washington will most definitely need key contributions from their deep and talented defensive unit that's shown they can run with the best of them. So keep an eye out for more big performances from Jackson and McCain throughout the remainder of this season.
