New Orleans Saints Pro Bowl running back Alvin Kamara has been ruled out of Sunday's game vs the Tennessee Titans. This creates waves in the fantasy football community.

Fantasy managers are scrambling after the news that Kamara will not play with a knee sprain. Mark Ingram II is obviously the next man up and who you should target. The problem is, Ingram is not available in most fantasy football leagues.

After showing he could pick up where he left off with the Saints as a 1-2 tandem with Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram II was picked up in more than 50% of leagues.

Fantasy football running backs are dropping like flies of late. Browns running back Nick Chubb earlier Friday was ruled out after being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds is being placed on IR due to a high ankle sprain.

Both Patriots running backs, Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson, have not practiced all week due to concussions. Bills starting running back Zack Moss is also dealing with a concussion sustained last week.

So, if ever there was a team to lose your Saints superstar on a Friday, this would be it. That's obviously hyperbole. You never want to lose your first round pick.

Here are some options to look at if you have lost one of the aforementioned running backs: Mark Ingram, D'Ernest Johnson, Devin Singletary, Brandon Bolden and if none of those are available, Eno Benjamin. If you are in a full PPR league, I would move Bolden ahead of Singletary.
