Some say the NFL fullback is extinct. Don't tell that to Kyle Juszczyk.

Based on his Instagram post on Thursday, the San Francisco 49ers fullback has apparently been channeling his inner Ivan Drago.

Seems like Juszczyk is making good use of his time when there isn't much else to do.

The 28-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Harvard, was originally selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round (130th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He played in every game during his rookie campaign, but mostly featured on special teams, amassing a grand total of four offensive snaps.

The following year, Juszczyk's role grew exponentially, as he played in 42 percent of the Ravens' offensive snaps and logged 19 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown.

While Juszczyk's snap count dropped slightly in 2015 (34 percent), he actually forged an even larger niche within Baltimore's  offense, catching 41 passes for 324 yards and four scores.

The Medina, Ohio native then made his first Pro Bowl in 2016 after tallying 37 grabs for 266 yards and punching in a rushing touchdown.

That ensuing offseason, Juszczyk signed with the 49ers, where his stretch of success has continued.

Since joining San Francisco, Juszczyk has made three more Pro Bowl appearances, bringing his total to four straight Pro Bowl selections overall.

He is coming off of a 2019 campaign in which he played 12 games and finished with 20 receptions for 239 yards and a score.

San Francisco won 13 games and captured the NFC West division title this past season, ultimately making it all the way to the Super Bowl. The Niners fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.
