It has been several months since Nintendo showcased their latest upcoming games and projects via a Nintendo Direct in February 2022. Many users have been anticipating more information as we head into the summer months, and with the Summer Games Fest only a few days away, surely some new details should be announced very soon. One very credible Nintendo leaker has come forth with some details regarding when the next Nintendo Direct will be announced.

A Twitter user named SamusHunter2 has come forth with a post suggesting that there may be a Nintendo Direct announcement next week, where they will go over various announcements for previously revealed titles as well as a few previews and demos:

The coming week I would describe as the calm before the storm, a week where Nintendo will get rid of the last of its old announcements and plans in order to let the next one go free. Launch/Reviews of Mario Strikers and FEW3H previews (with perhaps the release of the demo). -Samus Hunter

In the Twitter post, Samus Hunter can be seen answering various questions as to what could be revealed during the Nintendo Direct, including questions regarding anticipated titles such as Bayonetta 3. Samus Hunter manages to respond to the question with bold certainty:

Samus Hunter has always had a solid track record of leaking information without breaking NDAs, and the details mentioned above line up well with Nintendo's history of announcements. Nintendo Directs have always been revealed around the middle of June, due to E3 and other various showcases that happen during this time, so an announcement during the second or third week of June makes perfect sense.

Of course, Nintendo can be very unpredictable, so these leaks should be approached with some caution, and users should remember to hype themselves responsibly.
