Newly acquired Denver Nuggets guard Nick Young has a very interesting comparison when it comes to how he views his personality.

Young was signed by the Nuggets on Dec. 10 after a long stay in free agency, and he produced six points in nine minutes in his first official action with the team on Friday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

But while it has been a wild week for Young, that hasn't stopped him from feeling confident in how he views himself.

In fact, the best comparison that he feels describes his personality is that he's like a monument.

Here's what Young had to say about this whole idea, courtesy of Mike Singer of The Denver Post:

“I’m just an outgoing cool cat,” Young said, when asked to describe the origin of his nickname. “I’m just a handsome guy. Kinda like a ladies’ man, like Ladies Man, the movies. I’m here to take pictures with everybody. Come meet me, I’m like a monument. You can come take pictures with me.”

Well, there you have it. Nick Young is officially a monument.

Of course, if he can become a major contributor for this Denver team, he may get a monument outside of the Pepsi Center if the Nuggets can turn his signing into an NBA championship.

They're currently off to a 19-9 start while playing some excellent basketball, and they'll hope to keep their hot streak going when they welcome in the tough Toronto Raptors on Sunday night.
