The Denver Nuggets have been keen on improving their roster amid the absences of Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., and according to the latest reports, they have some interest in San Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes.

As Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype reported, the Spurs have put Forbes–who won the 2021 championship with the Milwaukee Bucks last season–on the trading block and have already garnered several interests.
As mentioned, the Nuggets are dealing with key losses in their backcourt and wing positions. Jamal Murray suffered a torn ACL last season and is still recovering with no specific timetable for return, while Michael Porter Jr. underwent surgery to address another concerning issue in his back.
While there were reports that both MPJ and Murray will be back later in the season, the Nuggets could certainly use some help while they wait.
The Nuggets have also been rumored to be interested in signing center DeMarcus Cousins, which fits well with their plans to bring a bruising big man to back up Nikola Jokic to play against big teams who like to dominate the painted area.
It remains to be seen what the Nuggets will do, but with the trade deadline nearing, it is looking like they will be really active wheeling and dealing come February.
