Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic has emerged as one of the top big men in the NBA over the past couple of years. For teammate Jamal Murray, however, he has no doubt that Jokic is currently the very best.

According to Murray, he firmly believes that Jokic is currently the cream of the crop (h/t NBA TV on Twitter):

Jokic, who has been playing at an MVP level to start the 2020-21 season, has been nothing short of outstanding for the Nuggets. It's hard to argue right now that he is the top big man in the NBA today, and for his part, Murray explains why:

“The game is so easy for him.” Murray said. “He get the ball on the post, take his time, look around, back you down, and then pick what he wants to do from there… But he just causes so many problems and on top of that he's a really good on defense, too. He got good hands and good anticipation. There’s no doubt that he’s the best center in the league by far.”

Right now, Jokic is averaging across the board career-best numbers of 26.8 points (on 57.4 percent shooting), 11.8 rebounds, 8.6 assists, and 1.8 steals, while also connecting on 1.4 triples per game on a 38.4-percent clip. These numbers alone are enough to prove Murray's statement here.
