Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray isn't taking his foot off the pedal and will continue to use his platform to intensify the commentary on racial justice. After exploding for another 50-piece and taking over Game 6 to push their series against the Utah Jazz to a do-or-die Game 7, the 23-year old found enough energy to open up and continue to fight for social justice.

“This is not just in America. This happens everywhere” Murray said in an emotional post-game interview. “It doesn't take one meeting. It takes a few meetings, it takes phone calls, it takes resistance – it's not going to take one night. We've been trying to fight for 40 years. But these shoes give me life.”

Jamal Murray had both the faces of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd drawn on his sneakers on Sunday night which, according to the Ontario-native, meant a whole lot to him. There really must've been some sort of extra fuel on Murray's sneakers on Sunday as he dropped his second 50-point performance in this series. Murray has now totaled 142 points in their last three games against the Jazz.

Given everything that has happened over the past few days with regards to the recent strike of the teams due to the killing of Jacob Blake last week, it's been nothing but amazing to see how Murray and the rest of his squad have found the extra push to find ways to win.

After winning Game 1, the Nuggets dropped three straight games against the Jazz and found themselves in a deep 3-1 hole. Murray showed up big in Games 5 (42 points) and 6 (50 points) to extend the series to a final Game 7 on Tuesday.
