Though Jamal Murray is out of the season with an ACL injury, he is still trying his best to help the Denver Nuggets in any way he can. During their warm-up on Monday against the Los Angeles Lakers, Murray participated in the drills even though he had crutches.

Murray just wants to play some ball and support the Nuggets. His left knee injury is obviously limiting his movements, but he is still finding other ways to contribute (via NBA on ESPN).

Murray tore his ACL last April 14 against the Golden State Warriors. Athletes who have suffered the same injury usually sit out one whole year of action. As such, Murray won't join the Nuggets in this year's NBA Playoffs and will miss a chunk of next season as well.

The high-scoring Murray is easily the Nuggets' second best player behind MVP candidate Nikola Jokic. So it's quite unfortunate that the team will miss his services amid hopes of making a deep postseason run.

The Nuggets, however, remain a deep squad. Their trade acquisition of Aaron Gordon can be considered one of the biggest transactions this season. Apart from this, Michael Porter Jr. seems to be developing rapidly into a reliable player on both ends.

Though Jamal Murray won't suit up, best believe that he'll cheer from the bench to lend moral support for the Nuggets.
