Jamal Murray was on another level on Friday night in the Denver Nuggets' victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Murray dropped a 50-piece, bringing back flashbacks from his memorable stint in the Orlando bubble.

Speaking after the game, Murray shared how he was able to explode in his record-breaking night.

Jamal Murray attributed that having fans was certainly a nice change of pace and something every NBA team has missed out on until recent times as the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing.

He made a name for himself in the bubble during the 2020 playoffs and made headlines again on Friday. The Nuggets guard finished with an insanely efficient stat line of 50 points on 21-of-25 from the field and 8-of-10 from beyond the arc to go with a pair of boards as the Nuggets cruised to a 120-103 win against the Cavs.

Murray also said the Nuggets have “a lot of weapons,” and Nikola Jokic–one of the MVP candidates–is having a spectacular season. However, it was Michael Porter Jr. and Murray that made headlines as each dropped 20 or more points in the first half.

Jokic finished with just 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, but he did add 12 boards and 10 dimes while MPJ chipped in 22 points. The Cavs simply had no answer for the Nuggets trio, especially Murray who made jumpers over and over again.

Murray was outstanding in the bubble and was a huge reason why the Nuggets overcame a pair of 3-1 series deficits against the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers before falling to the Los Angeles Lakers in the conference finals.

If the Nuggets want to return and make another deep run, Murray will need to keep putting together performances as he did on Friday night.
