Professional scorer Jimmer Fredette is on his way back to the NBA as he officially got called up by the Denver Nuggets to join their Summer League roster. The 32-year-old is coming from an explosive stint in China where he balled out for the Shanghai Sharks and now, it seems that he's caught the attention of the league as his NBA dreams are rejuvenated once again.

The Nuggets dropped the huge news of their Fredette pick-up on Twitter on Thursday:

The BYU alum came out of his collegiate career as a walking bucket. Unfortunately, his career in the NBA didn't quite pan out as he was moved from team to team ever since entering the league as the 10th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. His last stint in the NBA was back in 2019 where he ended up playing six games for the Phoenix Suns. Fredette has been in and out of the league over the past decade and had stints with the G League as well as overseas in Greece and of course China.

This is also not the first time the shooter will be part of the Nuggets' Summer League roster. The New York native was part of Denver's 2016 Summer League squad where he even dropped a 26-point performance.

With the Chinese Basketball Association not allowing foreign players in their upcoming season, it seems that Fredette is looking elsewhere to continue his basketball journey. Hopefully, if the buckets continue to drop for him, he gets one more shot in the NBA.
