Nikola Jokic has already put together quite the resume at just 27 years of age. He is a four time All-Star who won his first MVP award last season and is making a strong case to win it again this year. He recently strengthened his case for MVP by leading the Nuggets to a victory over Joel Embiid and the 76ers. But on Wednesday, he did something that only three Nuggets have done before him: Jokic scored his 10,000 career point.

Jokic now trails only Carmelo Anthony, Dan Issel, and Alex English for most points all-time in Nuggets history. He is quickly establishing himself as one of the greatest Nuggets of all-time and he is still in the prime of his career.

Jokic also becomes one of only two players to score at least 10,000 points, grab 5,000 rebounds, and dish out 3,000 assists through his first career 516 games. His offensive versatility is unparraled by fellow centers in the league. There is no question that the superstar big man is on a Hall of Fame trajectory.

Jokic accomplished the 10,000 point feat in Denver's Wednesday victory over the Wizards in Washington. He finished the game with 29 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. He is now averaging over 26 points per game as he looks to capture a second straight MVP award. Additionally, he has led the Nuggets to sixth place in the Western Conference despite a plethora of injuries suffered by the team throughout the season.

Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets will look to keep climbing the West standings as they travel to Cleveland to battle the Cavaliers on Friday.
