Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic notched the 33rd triple-double – 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists – of his young career in their 109-100 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has now tied Boston Celtics legend Bob Cousy for 10th on the all-time triple-doubles list.

Cousy took 14 seasons to notch 33 triple-doubles, while Jokic is just in year five of what should be a lengthy NBA career.

This is obviously an impressive feat for the 6-foot-11 Serbian. Jokic has established himself as one of the most unique players in not just in today's NBA, but in the history of the league.

Despite playing the center position, Jokic is very adept in racking up those assists with his uncanny ability to pass the ball and find his open teammates. In fact, The Joker may very well be the greatest passing big man the league has ever seen. And he's just 24!

After finishing third in MVP voting last season and leading the Nuggets to within a win from the Western Conference Finals, Jokic's numbers have regressed so far in 2019-20. Many were disappointed with his play, citing that he looks out of shape and appears disinterested through the first quarter of the season.

Still, despite the early season struggles from their star big man, the Nuggets are still one of the top teams in the Western Conference.

The bad news for the league, however, is that the All-Star big man is looking like he is finally rounding back into superstar form. Over his last eight, Jokic is averaging 22.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists, while shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from beyond the arc.
