Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic was recently named this year's Most Valuable Player after what was another historic campaign. That's now back-to-back title wins for the four-time All-Star as he continues to establish himself as one of the greatest big men in NBA history.

The Nuggets went all the way to Jokic's hometown in Sombor, Serbia to surprise Jokic with his second MVP title in two years. It resulted in a pretty epic moment (h/t Denver Nuggets on Twitter):

Jokic literally arrived in a chariot as his family, friends, and some representatives of the Nuggets organization surprised him in his own horse stable. It's hilarious how Jokic had his feet hanging out of the chariot because of the fact that he couldn't fit his entire 6-foot-11 frame in what was clearly an undersized passenger carriage.

Jokic was overjoyed by the surprise and it even looked like he was on the brink of tears. It was a well-deserved win for the Nuggets superstar, despite a strong challenge from Joel Embiid. Even the Sixers big man himself acknowledged Jokic's tremendous season.

The Nuggets' cornerstone superstar finished the 2021-22 season with averages of 27.1 points on 58.3 percent shooting (both career-best marks), 13.8 rebounds (career-best), 7.9 assists, and 1.5 steals, while also connecting on 1.3 triples per contest.
