Most NBA players have a specific routine they go through before every game to get ready, and some are weirder than others.

Bleacher Report recently posted an article about some of the pregame routines that some players do. Jason Terry wears the shorts of the opposing team to bed the night before a game to get ready. Former MLB player Jason Giambi would wear a gold thong to a game whenever he was going through a slump, and Former LSU Tigers football coach Les Miles would eat some of the grass off the field.

For Will Barton of the Denver Nuggets, he doesn't go to that extreme but he has found himself a pregame routine that is a bit out of the ordinary.

Barton has always talked about his love for Kobe Bryant so it's not totally shocking, but it is interesting that he would watch highlights of another NBA player before every game.

Since coming over to the Nuggets in 2014, he has really taken off. This season he has played in 80 games and is averaging 15.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. He has shot 45.3 percent from the field, and 36.7 percent from deep.

For the Nuggets and Barton, they have their biggest game of the season coming up, and maybe some Kobe Bryant highlights will be enough to get him well prepped.

The Nuggets will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night in a winner-take-all game. The winner will make it into the playoffs, and the loser will be going home. If the Nuggets want to win they are going to need Barton and the rest of the team to be at their best.
