The Golden State Warriors took on the Denver Nuggets Sunday evening, and the game went right down to the wire. Down two with 7.7 seconds left in regulation, Draymond Green inbounded the ball to Stephen Curry, who raced up the floor. Curry got into the paint and drew two defenders. He then passed it off to Damian Jones, who thought he had an easy layup which would have tied the game. Nuggets power forward Juancho Hernangomez had other ideas.

Hernangomez blocked Jones' shot with 1.6 seconds left, and the Nuggets ended up winning the game by a final score of 100-98. Denver is now 3-0 on the young season, while Golden State dropped to 2-1.

Juancho Hernangomez finished the game with eight points while shooting 3-of-5 from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. He's not a household name by any means. The 23-year-old is in his third season in the NBA. The Nuggets selected Hernangomez with the 15th overall pick in the 2016 Draft. His brother, Willy Hernangomez, plays for the Charlotte Hornets.

It's early for the Nuggets, but the team is No. 1 in defensive rating at 90.4 through three games. Let's see if Denver can keep this up for an entire season, though.
