Giannis Antetokounmpo is obviously the face of the franchise for the Milwaukee Bucks. Apparently, he is also their resident jokester, according to Jrue Holiday. The two-way guard enjoyed every bit of The Greek Freak's bench antics as Milwaukee strolled to a 140-113 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
Holiday admitted that their superstar's mentality and fun spirit has been contagious for the entire team, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic.
Asked @Jrue_Holiday11 about @Giannis_An34 on the bench tonight.
"He was a clown today. He was definitely enjoying himself, but you love to see it. You love to see the spirit, the excitement, especially from our best player. That carries on throughout the bench." https://t.co/vq9RZms5N4

Antetokounmpo spent the night on the bench watching his teammates dismantle the Pacers as he sat out with a left knee sprain. Thus, Giannis had an opportunity to bust out his elite repertoire of bench celebrations. Here are some of them:

I honestly don't know how it's possible to hate this man. Heck, how can anyone not be a fan of the Greek Freak.
It's safe to say Giannis really enjoyed being the cheerleader as he watched Holiday erupt for 28 points to go along with 14 assists on Monday's win. As a team, the Bucks also made it rain from beyond the arc, knocking down 24 triples on just 39 attempts.
The reigning two-time MVP just looks like he's having a lot of fun right now, especially this season. That was on display during the 2021 All-Star game a couple of weeks ago, where Antetokounmpo had a blast while bagging the MVP award in the process.
His fun attitude has certainly translated onto his play this 2020-21 campaign, as he appears to be playing more freely and with less pressure. As Holiday said, his mindset has trickled down to the team and it's showing with the way the Bucks have been playing, especially over the last month.
Milwaukee is on a roll, having won 12 of their last 13 games. And despite missing Monday's contest, this is in large part due to the leadership and positivity of The Greek Freak.
