The Utah Jazz are in a position to return to the glory days of the 90's when they were perennial contenders in the Western Conference.

If there 2018-2019 throwback jersey choice is any indication, the Jazz feel the same way.

The Jazz, via point guard Ricky Rubio's twitter, unveiled throwback's from the early 90's when one of the best point guard's in NBA history, John Stockton, donned the purple and yellow design.

Rubio showed off the purple-based jersey with three separate photo's on Wednesday, clearly advertising both the front and back.

The numbers are a yellow base with white outline while the Jazz logo from the past is sprawled across the front with dark purple trim.

The throwback piece is made and sponsored by Nike, who are in their second year of being the NBA's official apparel maker.

It is a fitting time for the Jazz to don some of the most iconic jersey's in team history.

Utah comes into the season poised to be one of the top teams in the rugged Western Conference a season after surprising the entire NBA en route to a second round playoff appearance.

While the talent of the team won't surprise any opponents, these slick jerseys may force opponents to do a double-take.

With marketable stars such us up-and-coming phenom Donovan Mitchell, there will be no shortage of pictures and video's of the Jazz rocking their throwbacks this season.

If things go as planned for Utah, they'll also cultivate some of the successful memories that were already made in these classic uniforms.
