Not that the public needs any more validation, but Philadelphia 76ers point guard and 2017-18 NBA Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons went ahead and confirmed what has been accepted by people as a fact: he and model Kendall Jenner are dating, according to a scoop by Kris Crane of the Daily Telegraph.
Touching down in Sydney fresh from a Mexican holiday with the worldās highest paid model, Simmons told The Daily Telegraph the budding romance āis going greatā.
It took time for Simmons to publicly address his relationship with Kendall Jenner primarily because heās not the type whoās inclined to talk about personal matters out in the open.
āIt is one of those things that I donāt like to talk about too much, because it is personal,ā he said.
In any case, Simmonsā career will now be scrutinized even more, as heās now become a Guinea pig whose career from this point forward can either prove or disprove the Kardashian/Jenner curse that has been blamed as the main culprit for the crash and burn of the careers of a number of NBA players.
So far, however, everything is going just fine for Simmonsā career. In his first active season in the NBA, he teamed up with Joel Embiid to transform the Sixers into one of the best units in the Eastern Conference.
Last season, Simmons averaged 15.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.2 assists while shooting 54.5 percent from the field.
