Former San Francisco Shock DPS player Dong-jun “Rascal” Kim recently announced on Twitter that he is looking for a team.

The diversity of his hero pool which he displayed for the San Francisco Shock could potentially attract suitors, as he can transition from a DPS to a support role and vice versa. This was evident as there were games when he would protect his teammates by playing as Brigette or Baptiste only for him to follow up with a damage dealer like Echo in the next game. He was even shortlisted to win the Overwatch League 2020 MVP trophy which will further enhance his stock value in free agency.

Prior to his career with the Shock, Rascal was once viewed as an enigma who could potentially derail the team's performance especially after revelations about his commitment with Dallas Fuel emerged. He was eventually released by the Fuel which led him to be acquired by the now defunct NRG Esports.

From there he experienced a resurgence to the point where the Shock became interested in acquiring his services.

Last October 25, the San Francisco Shock made a controversial decision by parting ways with Rascal who helped the organization reached its highest peak by being the first team to win two league championships by beating their opponents the Vancouver Titans in 2019 and Seoul Dynasty in 2020. Their achievements have garnered them the title of being one of the greatest Overwatch teams in history. The Shock even posted a video on Twitter expressing their gratitude for his overall contribution to the team.
