After recovering from his health condition, Indiana Pacers guard Caris LeVert is finally set to make his debut with his new team against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night. Prior to his first game back, LeVert expressed optimism that he is ready to take the floor after a two-month absence.

Via Indianapolis Star:

“I've ramped up my activity the past 2 or 3 weeks or so,” LeVert said. “I'm feeling pretty good. My body's adjusting good. I can't wait to get out there.”

The Michigan product came to the Pacers after he was involved in the blockbuster James Harden trade back in January. A day after his relocation, his physical with the Pacers revealed a mass found on his left kidney which eventually required him to undergo surgery.

During the early stages of the 2020-21 season, LeVert was a key piece in the Brooklyn Nets offense as he played alongside Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. He was averaging 18.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists through 12 games played with the team.

After seeing how he contributed for the Nets, Pacers head coach Nate Bjorkgren will definitely need LeVert's services as they currently hold a subpar 16-20 record to nab the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference. Moreover, the 26-year-old swingman is also expected to provide spacing on the floor to complement the playing style of All-Star forward Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, and Myles Turner.

Hopefully, Caris LeVert will be able to pick up where he left off from his time in Brooklyn as he aims to play a crucial role with the Pacers.
