After making it publicly known that Sabonis was on the trade block, the Pacers finally settled on a deal with the Kings wherein they received Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield, and Tristan Thompson in exchange for Sabonis, Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb, and a future second-round pick.
Sabonis made his mark for the Pacers and he will be missed. In a total of 319 games played for the franchise, the 6-foot-11 big man produced averages of 16.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
