Despite encountering a slew of injuries this season, the Indiana Pacers continue to win basketball games while currently sitting in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. A deep team throughout its roster, the Pacers have received help from all angles in 2019-20, including from a newcomer in former Charlotte Hornets swingman Jeremy Lamb.

Lamb recently elaborated on the fact that Indiana has continued to keep winning despite the team's injury woes.

“We have a deep team,” Lamb told ClutchPoints' own Jerry Donatien this week. “We’ve got a lot of players that can hoop. We have a great bench, we have an all around good team, we defend, we can knock down shots, and I think when we’re moving the ball, we’re tough to guard.”

Although the Pacers are an even 5-5 over the course of the team's last 10 games, Indiana is now a stellar 23-14 on the season. The only teams in the Eastern Conference that currently have a better record than the Pacers are the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers and defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors, respectively.

Most impressively, though, the Pacers have achieved the majority of the team's success at home at Bankers Life Fieldhouse while struggling on the road. Not even .500 on the road this season at a pedestrian 8-10, the Pacers are 15-4 at home in 2019-20.

As for Lamb himself, now in the midst of his first season as a member of the Pacers, the former Hornets swingman is averaging 14.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for Indiana.
