The Indiana Pacers are signing wing Jeremy Lamb to a $31.5 million contract over three years, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports.

Lamb put up new career-best numbers with the Charlotte Hornets last season. In 79 games in 2018-19, Lamb averaged 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 28.5 minutes per game. He shot 44 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from 3-point range, and 88.8 percent from the free throw line.

Prior to his four-year stint in Charlotte, Lamb spent three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Lamb, 27, was traded from Oklahoma City to Charlotte in the 2015 offseason for Luke Ridnour and a conditional second-round pick. He was drafted by the Thunder with the 12th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

Lamb, a seven-year NBA veteran, is another G League success story. The Virginia native made multiple trips to and fro the G League during his first two NBA seasons with the Thunder. He’s consistently built off the previous season and turned into a better player the next one.

The Pacers hope to pair Lamb with Victor Oladipo, who’s currently injured. Indiana also made a sign-and-trade deal for Malcolm Brogdon in a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Brogdon is a restricted free agent. The Bucks received a first-round pick and two future second-round picks for the former Rookie of the Year,
