New Indiana Pacers forward T.J. Warren has been attending NBA trainer Chris Brickley’s Blackops Basketball scrimmage runs this summer. Watching Warren up close has made the former Knicks Director of Player Development a huge fan.

In a post on Instagram, Brickley said that playing in a small market team had a negative impact on Warren's notoriety.

Brickley added that he's excited of what Warren can bring to the table for Indiana next season. Warren has gone under-the-radar for the most part of his career, and Brickley believes that it's because he's been playing in the desert in Phoenix.

The Suns basically dumped Warren this summer in exchange for cash considerations. In other words, the Pacers essentially got him without giving up anything.

In 2018-19, Warren made a drastic improvement to a glaring weakness in his offensive game prior to last season: three-point shooting. After averaging just 1.3 three-point attempts and shooting just 28.3 percent three-point shooting for the first four years in his career, Warren attempted over four threes per game on 42.8 percent shooting last year.

As you can see in the highlight video posted by Brickley, Warren can score in a multitude of ways. He can drive to the basket, score from mid-range, and make the three. This is why it's mind-boggling how the Suns just gave him away just like that without getting anything significant in return.

The Pacers lost the services of Bojan Bogdanovic, who moved on to the Utah Jazz this summer. However, Warren should easily fill in that spot for them as a versatile wing scorer.
