Indiana Pacers forward Thaddeus Young Young may not be the biggest name in the NBA, but he has had a pretty solid career and has played 800 games at the highest level. He continues to be a reliable contributor even now in his 11th season in the league. In fact, Young recently reached a feat only done by some of the best players to ever play in the NBA.
Young has now secured averages of 13.5 points, on 49.9 percent shooting from the field and 33.0 percent from beyond the arc, to go along with 5.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals in all of his pro games so far. That said, the 29-year-old Georgia Tech product became just the fifth player in NBA history to average at least 13.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 49 percent field goals, and 30 percent 3-point shooting in his first 800 career outings, joining the likes of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

This definitely says a lot about how Young has played since entering the league back in 2007. Being selected 12th overall, he was not one of the highly-touted prospects that year but has proven all his doubters wrong by continuing to perform well for all the teams he's played for throughout his career.
The 6-foot-8 hybrid forward was traded to the Pacers in 2016 in exchange for Caris LeVert and has since blended well with the team. He is now an integral part of their rotation, serving as their starting power forward in all 60 games this season.
Young has also helped make it possible for the Pacers to be one of the league's surprise teams this year, and are geared to make it back to the playoffs.
