The season for the Indiana Pacers officially came to an end on Monday, as they suffered their fourth consecutive defeat to the Miami Heat in their first-round series matchup, bowing out in a very disappointing sweep. Pacers star Victor Oladipo was asked about his future with the team, and as expected, the 28-year-old was non-committal.

Oladipo will be entering the final year of his current deal next season. When asked about a potential extension, the 6-foot-4 guard refused to answer the question directly:

To be fair to Oladipo, he's likely still trying to wrap his head around being swept in the first round. Then again, it's impossible that the extension hasn't crossed his mind at this point, and he surely already has an idea of what he's going to do in the offseason.

For what it's worth, Oladipo had his best game of the series in Game 4, finishing with 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting to go along with eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals in 44 minutes of action. In the end this was all for nothing, as the Heat topped Indiana yet again, 99-87.

Oladipo was not his best this season, as he struggled to find his form after a lengthy injury spell on the sidelines. He made his season debut in late January and was understandably unable to find his form right away. He looked much better since the restart, but it was clear that he was not completely up to speed yet.

As he said above, he intends to use the offseason to get back in the best shape possible. Whether or not his future lies in Indiana, however, is an altogether different matter. After failing to agree on a contract extension last offseason, there have been rumors about a Pacers exit, with the Heat representing a potential destination.

For now, we'll just have to wait and see.
